Mike

Mike was born and educated in Christchurch and has gradually worked his way North to Auckland, on the way spending nine years as a partner with a Wanganui law firm. After fifteen years in practice in two major Auckland City firms, Mike joined Merton Malloy in practice in Newmarket in 1995 in the firm which eventually became Malloy Goodwin Harford.
Mike’s area of practice is property law, Trusts and estate planning and wills. His working week will typically cover the full range of property related work including commercial and residential property transactions, property financing, commercial leases and property developments and subdivisions (including multi unit developments), as well as trusts, wills and estate planning.

Mike is married with two children and three grandchildren. He is a failed golfer and has long since overcome any obsession with physical fitness. These days his spare time (wife and grandchildren permitting) is taken up with music, reading and critiquing televised sports events - mostly rugby and cricket - which utilises his in-depth knowledge of the failings of selectors, tacticians, referees and umpires.
